WORKSHOP for students: DICHOTOMY

The workshop program is dedicated to research into forms of interdisciplinary collaboration of students of art and design. Through the implementation of a joint project, groups of students realize the object (from the concept to the realization of the prototype), which is at the same time an artistic object, spatial sculpture, object of use or a decorative element.
The aim of the workshop is to create interactive objects, which, in a certain segment or the entire presentation, represent a combination of two extremes, two opposites, a dichotomy. The blends that can be expected in these works ranges from the blend of the digital and the analog, points and pixels, light and darkness, day and night to more abstract connections between the public and private, east and west, fnite and infnite...
Aleksandra Jovanić is a Graduate programmer and holds a PhD in Digital Arts. she is currently teaching, in the capacity of assistant professor, on all three levels degrees of study, i.e. at Undergraduate Studies of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Master Studies of the Faculty of Applied Arts and Doctoral Art studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade. Her everyday research and teaching focuses on diﬀerent technologies of new media art, interactive art, art games and generative art.
