The walk includes a visit to the Pančevo city centre, three main squares, important buildings monuments and urban design, an abandoned urbanistic project from the '60s, Museum - old and new city hall, industrial monuments and stories about meritorious citizens Đorđe Weifert, Uroš Predić, Mihajlo Pupin and Nebojša Glogovac. Visitors will be impressed by the unusual contrast between the medieval and baroque architecture of Vojlovica monastery and futuristic Oil Refinery in the very surroundings.
The beginning and the end of the tour is at Dunav Station in Belgrade, traditional communication knot of Belgrade towards Pančevo and backwards. The drive to Pančevo by bus lasts about 20 minutes.
Aleksandar Stanojlović (1971), architect from Pančevo, founder of Graphic Studio Žiža, specialized for applied cartography and visual presentation of historic buildings, cities and regions, author of study in pedestrian zones and urban design and pavement in protected urban centers and greenways program - the revitalization of abandoned railways into cycling and walking trails.
