Shared Cities Creative Momentum (SCCM is a European cultural platform reconsidering the contemporary urban challenges of European cities. After the first successfully realized project within this platform, at BINA 2017, Urban Hub 1 - Plateau, at this year’s BINA, we will present Urban Hub 2 - Multifunctional Spot. The project is realized in cooperation with NGO Škogled, Goethe-Institut and the “Vlada Obradović Kameni” Primary School.
Urban Hub 2 - Multifunctional Spot is a collectively conceived intervention in a schoolyard - a summer classroom in the open air, in the Ledine residential area, aimed at improving the quality of life in a community.
The school community is the most numerous social group in the Ledine residential area. Besides the employees and all those going to school, it also includes everybody who has ever attended school, all those who are yet to attend it, as well as everyone who uses the area around the school for recreational purposes. All these groups have jointly thought up and proposed a solution for the improvement of a section of the schoolyard in the hope that it might become a new venue and place of exchange.
Urban Hub 2 is a public space - a circle that we have drawn together and a circle out of which we go on to grow further.
Let us be positive and active - let us work together!
