WORKSHOP for elementary school pupils: STREET ARCHITECTURE – painting workshop

The painting workshop street Architecture is aimed at acquainting young people with the terminology of architecture itself and its “multiple meanings“. Their task is to realize how contemporary architecture is implemented into existing urban surroundings and how they jointly create and write the history of the street
and the city.
The creative aspect of the workshop itself will focus on a meaningful composition of painting tasks in which the participants will represent one side of their street or a street that they will design themselves.
Nevena Stevanić Popović studied in the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design in Belgrade, sector for Internal Architecture and Design. She graduated in 2002 in the class of professor Zoran Bulajić, thus acquiring the title of Graduated architect. Nevena has gained professional experience through independent work and teamwork in the feld of interior design of office spaces, apartments and catering facilities. In 2014, she founded her own company for furnishing interiors, as well as furniture design and manufacture. In 2016, she was enrolled in PhD studies at the Faculty of “John Naisbitt“. At the end of 2016, she opened a painting studio called “Studio 5” with the aim of teaching children and adults.
