The countries of Central and Eastern Europe underwent a socio-economic transformation in the 1990s and made the shift from state planned to free market economy. As a direct consequence of this phenomenon numerous large-scale informal markets run by migrants have emerged (Hüwelmeier on a bazaar in East Berlin; Korać on Blok 70 in Belgrade; Nagy on the Red Dragon Market in Bucharest; Nyírí on Chinese bazaars in Budapest; Marcińczak and van der Velde on bazaars in Poland) .Our research and case studies – Belgrade and Warsaw explore how this influence reflects on urban development and infrastructure transformation.
Studio Pilastro is a studio, for designing, producing and furnishing interiors, established in 2009. The Studio is led by senior designers, NatalijaJovanović and PredragMaksić, with the help of their permanent associates. We have created a studio that provides coherent design solutions with a constant impact of information from relating design disciplines. Our projects relate to solving spatial problems, designing furniture and equipment, as well as implementing spatial graphics. Our goal is to create interiors that reflect warmth and sensuality, always relying on the form, material, texture, color and light.
Archi PLAY is a brave new brand of educational toys intended for free play as the most valuable source for children to gain knowledge and experience. Designed in cooperation with pedagogues and educators, architectural toys develop wits, perception of space, abstract thinking and ability for creative problem solving.
Raster is a collective of architects engaged in architectural design and research, with a focus on architectural and spatial concepts, primarily through participating in architectural and urban design competitions, whilst engaging in research through experimentalprojects, exhibitions and workshops.
The question of how we inhabit the environment is ultimate challenge for all disciplines of the current millenium. For architects this general question could be contemplated tracing the change in how we understand space. In our work, both theoretical and practical, we strive to examine how new alliances of natural, everyday life, and social or cultural life could be made through architecture.

These are the characteristics that open the possibilities for social strategies investing in solving housing problems of socially and economically vulnerable groups. Mini Home overcomes existing regulations and legal barriers and bring affordable housing for everyone.
