Are “empty” spaces or non-places truly what theory suggests, or do these locations carry within themselves the sublimated poetics of the contemporary city? If you want to learn more about how the erased space along the transit line between the Belgrade Hippodrome and Topčider Park fits into the life of the city and urban trends, join us in this walk and discussion. We will depart from the Hippodrome tram station and finish at the Topčider Park. During this two-and-a-half-hour walk, you will have the opportunity to explore the latest works of graffiti authors and street artists in one of the oldest halls of fame in Belgrade. Moreover, we will see how contemporary street art makes us face the “invisible” cultural heritage of our city.
