“1973-2023 (International) Archive of Women in Architecture”
was hosted by Faculty of architecture, Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain), October 3 – 6, 2023.
The organizing committee was led by Eva Alvarez and Carlos Gomez and was realized an amazing program for a very exciting week filled with activities, international keynote speakers, presentations, workshops, seminars and tours. During the conference program, prof. Aleksandra Stupar (Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade) and Jelena Ivanović Vojvodić (BINA, Birovia) held the lecture_ (Re)presentation of women in Serbian architecture: paths of creativity, recognition and memory (in which they presented the promotion of women in architecture at BINA events in cooperation with Milena Zindović, ŽAD, Docomomo Serbia and other institutions) and were part of the discussion with other colleagues and moderator prof. Anna Sokolina.
They were also a part of the event supported by The International Archive of Women in Architecture Center (IAWA), as a participating event of ICAG 2023 1×1 IAWA – ICAG 2023 in which they donated catalogs BINA and graphic work of Jelena Ivanovic Vojvodic in practice (competition work, I prize, Reconstruction and extension of the Museum of City of Belgrade).
