The group exhibition curated by David Callas was created as collaboration between the Cultural Center of Belgrade (KCB), the Belgrade International Architecture Week (BINA) and the Sudtiroler Kunstlerbund (SKB).

Architecture has the power to control space. It can enable its exploitation as a resource, carve it into usable surfaces and exploit the goods created from raw materials extracted from the earth’s surface. These products, however, carry a definite expiration date. Once they are no longer deemed useful, the vast majority are discarded and replaced by new upon new volumes constructed from freshly extracted and processed raw materials. New construction occupies and exploits increasing areas of previously unused space.
Sixty cities join EU project CrAFt to jointly shape the transition towards climate-neutrality and inclusive cities by 2030.
LINA, the European architecture platform, of which the Belgrade International Architecture Week – BINA is also a member, has opened a competition for architectural projects that deal with the connections between architecture and the climate and environmental crisis, and the deadline is September 12th. .

A series of events and activities organized by the Faculty of Architecture and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and in partnership with the Belgrade International Architecture Week (BINA), this year will mark the 125th anniversary of architect Nikola Dobrovic (1897-1967), professor at the Faculty of Architecture – University of Belgrade, full member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and art and one of the most important figures of Serbian and Yugoslav architecture.
